*** I never considered myself a "Birther" ... but Redstate apparently can't take the heat... the below post was banned ... Hey Neil Stevens... grow a Pair! BTW... I find it interesting that they feel free to criticize others but refuse to allow any rebuttal of said criticism... sounds like today's GOP
I hear DeceptiCons rattling on with attacks about the “Birther” issue and never even addressing the meat of the “Birther” suspicions?
“Birther” or no… Has it ever occurred to anyone WHY Obama fights tooth & nail in court to prevent any and all personal records from being released to the tune of over $1M in legal fees to date?
Do you find yourself shaking your head as you hear news anchors and pundits make vicious jabs about Sarah Palin? This woman has been very successful in career and family. She started her political life as a mayor of a small town in Alaska and went on to defeat an incumbent Republican Governor of the same state running against the establishment. John McCain picked her as his running mate and she was the bright spot in his failed run for Presidency.
Sarah Palin’s family consist of her husband Todd and four children, the youngest being Trig who has Down syndrome. Sarah and her husband new that Trig had Down syndrome and went thought with the birth, this infuriates some on the left as it goes against their view of children as commodities to keep or toss away at a whim.
President Barack Obama gave the country his first State of the Union address.
The Bizzaro President was once again on the campaign trail, positioning himself as if he was a Washington outsider.
Barack Obama did the exact opposite of Bill Clinton did after he lost control of the congress. Bill Clinton moved to the center which quieted the storm and he went on to have a fairly successful presidency.
The Bizzaro President stayed on his left leaning course of destruction, without a thought of Scotts Brown victory over Martha Coakley in Massachusetts.
President Obama stated that his gang rescued the country from a possible depression with his stimulus bill and saved 2 million jobs as unemployeement rose above 10%. Where does he get these figures?
As Ronald Reagan embodied the heart and soul of America with his stirring speeches invoking thanks to God for this great nation & for the wisdom given the Founding Fathers and his refilling the nation with the spirit of 76... Ted Nugent is what happens when you take that spirit and let it off its leash!!
If there ever was a time we need those Damn Yankees... its NOW!! After hearing these songs, I have an overwhelming urge to go clean my guns. ;-)
Hey Uncle Ted! I have one word for you, my friend... REUNION!!
I read the article Time Magazine put out “The Decade From Hell” where they sat down and chronicled the last decade in America. I must confess, I didn’t even realize there were only weeks left in this decade. The article was a great one. It starts from the moment of the Y2K madness when we thought all our computers would crash and brought us through all that had happened this last decade.
When I look back at what happened to all of us from 9/11 to Hurricane Katrina and everything else, I must admit Time Magazine is right. I hope the name “Decade From Hell” sticks, because that is just what it was.
After a loss like this has occurred, when almost everything splinters and falls apart, one must take time to be introspective. There comes a time when we, the people of a certain movement who have received such a devastating blow, need to look deep inside and ask ourselves “How on earth did this happen? Why did it happen? When did it happen?” An introspective declaration is required in order to regroup and to make sure that something like this never, ever happens again.
Throughout my lifetime the term conservative has changed its meaning just as many times as blacks, who now call themselves African-American, who once called themselves colored in my life time. So what is a conservative? Do I fit that label anymore or what does that even mean?
Do I fit in some box or conform to any particular label? What am I? Who am I politically? Where is my political home? Do I even have a home politically? Well, let us figure this out. I am furiously pro-life and consider abortion evil and used by American women as some form of birth control. I know that the rape and incest excuse used by our women is a lie and only constitutes less than one percent of these killings.
There is such a difference in cultural morals in the Democratic Party compared to the Republican Party. Most things seem to take on a monolithic realm when it comes to the actual governing within the two parties. However, there is when it counts, a vast gulf when it comes to publicly funding abortions.
As the glorification begins and the millions of worshippers descend on Washington DC to begin their idol’s canonization ceremonies, as people pack their minivans and drag their kids out into the cold to be near the chosen one, it might be a good time to explain while some of us can not support this man. While we watch the mind numbed press fulfill their self-imposed prophecy of creating history doing anything they can for their demigod, it is time to truly explain why some of us can not drink the kool aid.
Rush Limbaugh spent a large portion of his show yesterday touting the grand, wonderful world of life with Walmart. He was going on and on about what a wonderful company Walmart is. He even said that Walmart is the best friend we, as Americans, have.
The large retail chain is certainly an American success story with it’s seven thousand stores all over the world. Employing over two million people is nothing to sneeze at and in these economic times, those are some safe jobs for sure. As money gets tighter and tighter, no doubt that company is standing on solid ground. The worse the economy does, the better they do. They’re not the only ones.
