God Save Limbaugh’s Kidneys

We are all familiar with the statement made by Wanda Sykes wishing for Rush Limbaugh’s kidneys to fail. We are all very familiar with outrageous statements made from the left about this one is Hitler and this one should be killed. They always make these over the top statements and are never challenged by the press or confronted in anyway. However, this personal attack on the kidneys of Rush Limbaugh has a message encoded in it. By targeting his kidneys in this statement, they insidiously want people to remember his addiction to painkillers. By doing this they are saying without saying, that we shouldn’t pay any attention to this man because he is a drug addict. I don’t pay attention to him for other reasons, but not this wicked nonsense.

Now we are supposed to forget this is the crowd that brought us an army of drug addicts constantly streaming into rehab. The same crowd that demanded we forgive these poor people. The same crowd that made drinking and drugging some classified disease like cancer or something. Like the people can’t help it, but are just victims of some random disease they were struck with. Over and over again we are bombarded by images of limos dropping off one Hollywood person after the other on the front steps of a drug rehabilitation in-patient facility. Whenever one of their own makes it out of this hospital we are supposed to give them our forgiveness and respect. Whatever art they were working on should stand alone when viewed. Any movie made by one of these poor souls should never encompass the idea of their personal failures. It is almost a right of passage for people on the left to go to rehab and emerge on the other side as heroes.

In the case of Rush Limbaugh and the strain he put on his kidneys with a constant stream of OxyContin and other schedule two narcotics, the normal wave of forgiveness is some how missing. According to the left we should never forget Rush got high and took pills. He should never be forgiven in their eyes. This is clear. This is the doubled standard that no one seems to hide. It’s out in the open for all non- hypocritical minds to see. To publicly wish for Rush Limbaugh’s kidneys to fail at a dinner with the President and watch the President laugh. To hide behind the event and say this was comedy, highlights the fight ahead for the other half of the country who did not vote for this man.

I sat and thought about it and was thinking about what body parts of what people we should wish for failure. Of course we don’t do things like that. We believe in God, so that is not our modus operandi but what if I did? Let me think. Who’s organs would I wish harm on? Well I would wish that Nancy Pelosi’s facial muscles would give into the strain of plastic surgery and reveal an expression. I would wish for Barney Frank’s larynx to fail so we didn’t have to listen to him talk with that lisp. Should I wish for the complete failure of Harry Reed’s eyes? That way he wouldn’t be burdened with actually seeing a bill he is voting for.
