The Coming Self-Righteous Tyranny

Well folks, history does repeats itself, and sometimes in quicker circles than others... in this case, its barely been past a half century... My mother grew up in Nazi Germany, and as a child she remembers Hitler's speeches about "Hope" and "Change" which seems to be the mantra of those who profess that their actions are in the best interests of the people.

Hitler in his early days railed against the economic conditions which were a shattered mess with the Deutsche Mark nearly worthless and unemployment at an all time high... He also preached that he would restore Germany's place in the world and bring honor back after the humiliating defeat of WWI. Which at the time to many Germans was a point of angry contention. Well we all look back and see what the result of all that was.

Today, my mother remembers those early speeches, and she hears the same message from Obama with the same soaring rhetoric, along with "restoring America in the world." But no one dared ask then, nor do they ask now, what is this change you say you want to bring? After listening for the last TWO years while he has campaigned for the presidency and still wearing his freshman Senatorial diapers... his plans for America are no different to those articulated in the early "glory" speeches Hitler spoke. Promises of "Hope" and "Change" while subtle hints of his agenda are made known in ways that appeal to people. But the rest they wouldn't agree with. Free money and healthcare for all... but just enough to get you to vote for me. Britain is a great example of how that system is failing.

Obama has stated he will dismantle our military. If you think this is a great idea, then maybe you can convince the chinese and the russians from stopping their arms buildups... they do so because they want to expand their sphere of influence, not because they dislike us.. and No... they won't "like" us if we disarm, they will attack. Most who read this will dismiss it out of hand thinking that this can't happen here, its alarmist, its ... etc... However, the signs historically are all there, and people refuse to see it.

Unfortunate though it is... the youth of today need to experience it for themselves what a Socialist regime like Obama's will bring. Can never happen again? I beg to differ. Its happening now... Two things have to happen, and have happened... 1. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it... 2. Those who wish to REPEAT history must control the teaching of it.. Today we have both. William Ayers, Ward Churchill, and the entire cast at Columbia, Harvard, etc. They all have been "preaching" not teaching a world view that is one-sided and diametrically opposed to real history. They embrace a fascist mentality while claiming they are open minded and at the same time ensuring that opposing points of view are silenced... sometimes through intimidation or violence. That is true fascism in case anyone is wondering. (Look up the Webster's definition, you'll understand).

Still think this is over the top? How about Obama's own words in a comment on rights from the 2007 Philadelphia Debate: "...just because you have an individual right does not mean that the state or local government can't constrain the exercise of that right..."

You may not care for the right to keep and bear arms, but when they get to "constraining to the point of denial" a right you do care about... what will you do then? You can't let government pick and choose what rights you are allowed and are not.

Some will say "reasonable" constraint when it comes to rights is ok... for instance 2nd Amendment regulations, or "Fire" in a crowded theater. But reasonable to some is not reasonable to others OR everybody else. He has said "Healthcare is a right" Uh huh... and what happens when the "state" decides that you have too much healthcare because you're very sick? Its "reasonable" for them to sacrifice your needs for everybody else... would you agree with that when its YOU on the chopping block? I HIGHLY doubt it.... you will throw that high-minded, psychobabble right out the window when its YOUR life in the balance. We call it what it is... SOCIALISM... and Socialism has failed... over and over again. Einstein said it best... Insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Obama may speak well... but he lacks the real intelligence to back it up and is easily swayed by those who have influenced him... Hence he hasn't written anything of note in his chosen field, never held a real job, nor run an organization be it a business or other from an executive position. Would you put a nurse or doctor fresh out of nursing or medical school in charge of a major hospital or a healthcare system? Definitely not. So why would you put a man who has read a bunch of bad books, associated with bad people, filled his head with bad ideas, skated his way through school and conned his way through life in charge of your government?

An old Christian mantra states: "Show me your friends, and I will tell you who you are." And Proverbs 13:20 states: "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." This holds true for nations as well in its choice of leaders... Obama's allegiances, friendships, affiliations, even his choice of wife, show much about the man (Article in the Asia Times on Obama). And they are very dark indeed.

If this is what you want, then be prepared to live with the consequences... I for one will close up shop, and live off of YOUR efforts... I've already done mine. To those who wish to survive this. Dump your stock, and buy gold. Buy your arms and bury them. It isn't a "righteous wind" that comes.. but a self-righteous tyranny.
