Al Gore's New 100FOOT House Boat!

An article appeared on the Tennessean.com website covering Al Gore's latest toy funded by all his Global Warming Huckster funds... a 100 FOOT House Boat! This little man toy named "Bio-Solar One" is tricked out with solar panels, and runs on Bio-Diesel...(pause)... BIG DEAL!! He's taking heat from many directions on this latest energy hog and the article does its best to defend him... but the parts they neglect to mention are the facts of Bio-Diesel... its less efficient that regular diesel, and requires enormous amounts of water to produce the fuel. Nevermind the large amounts of corn or vegetable oil required to produce the necessary 'raw material' to start the process. The whole biofuel debacle has put huge upward pressure on food prices, and the little known problem of increased water usage in order to manufacture biofuels in general. Norway has stopped production completely after discovering that the country's water usage had increased 400%! Their natural supplies of fresh water cannot sustain these needs. Let alone the land and water usage required for the additional crops... putting pressure on open lands, and drastically increasing the potential for soil erosion... without soil... NO FOOD!!

Even here in the US, many of the mid-west states that who are lean on water supplies as it is, are either now, or are on the verge of experiencing water shortages due to the manufacture of biofuels. (See http://ezinearticles.com/?Biofuels-and-BioDiesel;-There-is-a-snag&id=28151)

Al Gore uses these little shenanigans as marketing tools for his 'Green' Money Machine... he gets paid big bucks partly for shutting his mouth.
As far as his Nobel Prize, He didn't nominate himself (surrogates did the nominating for him) but he did go to Oslo to lobby hard for the prize afterward. Even the IPCC's study is now under scrutiny, as a world-wide petition countering the IPCC's claim of consensus were signed by 31,072 scientists, with 9000+ being Ph.D's. This far outstrips the IPCC's 2500 signators of which only 308 were Ph.D's with much of the balance being politicians. Whether you support Mr. Gore or not, you have to question his sincerity when from this one issue, he's amassed such wealth to the tune of $100M+! In addition, the programs he's been attempting to promote which targets specific technologies, are meant to foster development and funding in the companies named to develop these technologies... of which Mr. Gore owns large shares.

Like T. Boone Pickens, he's promoting a charlatan's scam to line his own pockets... and The Dark Lord Gore DEFINITELY doesn't practice what he preaches... but is certainly good at the ole' Jedi Mind Trick...
