Barney Frank As the Pot Calling The Kettle "Black"

In today's update, Rush zeroes in on Barney "My Boy Lollipop" Frank and the "Democrats", the "architects" of the current economic crisis. Though Bill Clinton is the true harbinger of "change" in this fiasco with the expansion of the CRA (Community Reinvestment Act), Barney "My Boy Lollipop" Frank was the principle behind blocking the efforts of the Bush Administration, as well as John McCain and others in their efforts to impose tighter regulation on the operations of Freddie and Fannie. Now in a desperate attempt to play the race card in a last ditch effort, our favorite all day "sucker" has seen fit to call Republicans "racist" for wanting to regulate properly Freddie's Fannie, as well as criticizing them for the worldwide meltdown as if it was all their fault. Of course, Mr. Frank will resist heavily any attempt at Fannie regulating, since he was so "deeply" involved in the scandal. But I digress here...
But Rush wasn't finished with the opening dialog of the Morning Update. Here are the facts as presented and verified by the Dr. of Democracy...
Fact Numero Uno: The Clinton Administration and the Congressional Democrats through their lapdog, Janet "Will Farrell" Reno, initimidated financial institutions into writing these sub-prime mortgages for people who were not qualified. i.e. the poor among us who couldn't afford these loans.
Fact Deux: Minorities were unfortunately targeted by Democrats under the premise they were denied any form of home loan because of race and income... or "Redlining", though no proof of the practice existed, as the recipients of these loans.
Fact Drei: Though the Bush Administration attempted repeatedly to reform Fannie & Freddie, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and the Congressional Black Caucus resisted thwarting every attempt and labeling the Bush Administration as "racist" for attempting these reforms. (See YouTube videos of Marxine Waters).
Fact Four: Some of these Democrats made millions fleecing these programs... aka... Franklin Raines
Fact Five: The short-lived benefits to minorities was an opportunity for real estate speculators to make a quick buck from the free money and easy lending... this too compounded the problem.
The bottom line here is the poor and minorities have been taken advantage of by democrats as easy pickings to buy votes with these sham programs which ultimately hurt them in the long run, sometimes blowing away years of effort in everything they've worked hard to achieve given their station... and in the end, these so-called programs as Rush put it... "Propped up a false economy"... which is so true. We see the ramifications of their greed and hunger for power...
So the final fact that Rush pointed out... is that the crisis itself, and the ripple effects solely belong to the efforts of the "Democratic" Party!
Et tu, Barney?
