CDC determines that "Big Snow" Is Burdening Our Healthcare System

In today's update, Rush discussed the Center for Disease Control's latest research project which addresses outdoor activities. In their study they determined that snowboarding, was the most dangerous of outdoor activities which results in 25% of ER visits tallying 200,000 people annually with ages 10 to 24 accounting for half, and males were injured at a rate of 2 to 1 over females. The CDC apparently didn't care to determine why the dichotomy. Rush SATIRICALLY pointed out the alarming notion that where is the American Left to come out in favor of the children in light of this news? Why isn't someone attacking those who are responsible such as "Big Snow"? These people are making big money through their advertising dollars glorifying the extreme lifestyle and luring children into injury! Liberal "logic" would dictate that this sort of thing would burden our healthcare system and victimize children! Are rich kids, who can afford better snowboards less prone to injury than the poor, disenfranchised children?? In light of this new information... like transfats in NYC, or smoking everywhere else... which includes premium cigars (I'm never going back to Hawaii for that one, not allowed to smoke on the deck of the hotels anymore)... Snowboards should be banned... as always... "for the sake of the children."

Of course if the liberal Socialcrats in Washington would try that one, they would lose the youth vote...
