Greg Norman 2006 Chardonnay

Recently while on an outing up to Stratton, VT (see blog posts), my wife and I ate at a little eatery called MulBerry's in the shopping village at the base of the mountain. I had ordered a Pecan crusted salmon, which was delicious btw... but to compliment it, I ordered a chardonnay. The waitress asked what brand and then she proceeded to rattle off a list. When she got to the Greg Norman... I said, "Absolutely!" I've had a number of Greg Norman wines in the past, and they have always been outstanding. When she brought the glass... I tasted, and two words came to mind... "liquid gold!" (SHHH... all you Burn Notice fans :D )... The wine went extemely well with the salmon, and even by itself... the flavor had hints of butter, vanilla, with a slight sweetness that followed by a dry finish.
Give it a try and let us know what you think. ;)

I was able to acquire a bottle of the Greg Norman 2006 Chardonnay for home... and its even better when newly uncorked. It went very well with a charcoal grilled hickory marinated pork loin. ;)
