Padilla Series '68 Torpedo

OOOK... I'm sitting here... typing this post while thoroughly enjoying a Padilla Series '68 Torpedo. This cigar has definitely joined my "Pantheon of Premium Smokes" (Hmm.. now there is a new list waiting to happen...ponder, ponder). Even as the cigar sits on the edge of my claytop table... the breeze is bringing the waft of smoke from the ember past my nose, and the aroma is just exquisite. To describe it... hmmm... The aroma has what you'd expect from a fine cigar. Definite aroma notes such as toffee with a slight dark cherry background. (That's the closest I can come as a description) The taste is smooth with a medium bodied finish, but not alot on the spice aspect from what you might expect given the aroma. In addition, the cigar is nicely constructed, firm in your fingers but the draw is comfortable. I prefer to use that term, since sometimes a cigar that is loosely rolled, will have a very easy draw, and burn very hot... where as comfortable to me means its not a hard pull, but its not like that of a loose roll.
I'm going to have to put together a list here of some of these babies that will have to be the We Rush Daily Recommended List.
Folks... I highly recommend this smoke... give it a try. If you do, please post a comment here on what you think of this cigar.
