Sun-Times: Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel ducks reporters' questions

And so it begins... the ink isn't even dry on the ballots from the election, the Electors haven't even met yet, and already the fictional "Office of the President-Elect" is mired in scandal. Rahm Emanuel refuses to answer questions about his role in "Blago-gate" (See article here) along with the Transition teams statements that Alexrod "was mistaken" about any conversations Obama had with Blagojevich about the Senate seat vacancy. In spite of numerous statements by Obama, Axelrod, and others about his talks with Blagojevich. I'm curious as to what other evidence Fitzgerald has on hand?
I find it odd that if Blagojevich's phones were bugged by the Feds, why is it that no transcripts exist between anyone at the Obama transition team and Blagojevich? Could it be that the Feds may have been selectively hearing things since Fitzgerald was so adamant about following a case against "Scooter" Libby - a republican, even though there was overwhelming evidence and an admission by Richard Armitage that he was the leak (See: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15489180/).
It strikes me as odd as well, that Obama wanted Valerie Jarrett to replace him... Blagojevich doesn't play ball and refuses.. then this case breaks. Seems like Obama's trying to clear the field again... if Blagojevich is removed, he's likely to get his pick in the Senate that he wants... Ponder Ponder...
