Monday's Rush Morning Update:
Dateline: 24 August 2009

"As the Obama administration is trying to relocate Club Gitmo terrorists to American neighborhoods (mainly in Michigan), an outrageous story is breaking.

According to the Washington Post, the Justice Department is investigating three lawyers representing Gitmo terrorists who showed their clients photographs of CIA officers and contractors. The defense lawyers apparently wanted to identify those involved in the interrogations -- interrogations, by the way, that saved us from additional terror attacks. Terrorists charged with organizing the 9/11 attacks were among those given the photographs!

Now you can thank the John Adams Project -- which is a joint venture between the ACLU and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Both these groups are on record saying they'll zealously investigate the CIA's worldwide interrogation program. Their researchers took the pictures; in some cases they staked out agents' homes.

Now taking photos of our covert agents is a clear breach of the law covering classified information. Showing them to terrorists is just simply beyond belief.

Asked about the investigation, the ACLU said, "Well, rather than investigate the CIA officials who undertook the torture," the Justice Department is "now investigation the military lawyers who have courageously stepped up to defend these clients in these sham proceedings."

While we are at war with terrorists, it appears that the left remains at war with America. Our national security means nothing to these people... If these allegations are true, their's going to be hell to pay for the people who showed terrorists these photos."
