Tree Humpers Cry Over Spilled Sap

I wasn't sure exactly which heading to place this one under, so I'll just have to add one... ;-)

Jeff Schrieber (I really admire this guy's work!) over at America's Right has a post entitled "If a tree falls in a forest and a hippie cries, can anyone hear me laugh?" which is accompanied by a rather hilarious video about "Earth First!" At first you get the idea that these are a bunch of tree humping, dirt eating nut jobs... and you would be correct, of course...

However, anyone who pays close attention to what the news reports on etc... might remember a story here or there about "Earth First!" and the shenanigans of this group. I recalled a story done by 60 Minutes about 10 or more years ago with the focus on the founder of this group. One of their tactics is to spike trees with long nails so that when a logger cut into the tree, the saw would be damaged, sometimes with violent results where the loggers would be maimed by the saw or in a few reported incidents were killed.

These psychopaths (not a technical diagnosis but rather a pejorative) who are this emotionally bent can be a dangerous bunch... and though I'm not a psychologist, nor do I play one on TV, I would think they're in dire need of some therapy... and a shower... shots... red meat... etc..
