Tres Hermanos - New Orleans Cigar Factory

About a month and a half ago, I commented on a line of cigars from a little place in the French Quarter (If its still there after Ike that is) called the New Orleans Cigar Factory (See that previous post.). I've been needing to play catch up here on a few cigars I've had in the last few weeks, so tonight as I write this, I'm sitting down on calm, clear evening enjoying the Tres Hermanos.
This fine little cigar is well constructed, and feels firm in your fingers. The draw is comfortable, not too tight, with a nice mouth feel. The flavors offer a hint of cocoa, with a somewhat spicy caramel aftertaste. I think this would be a nice smoke if had with some really great scotches. (Unfortunately, I don't have one handy... GRRR!! :-) or possibly a good cognac. I've been pleasantly surprised at the quality of these cigars. To recap a bit from that previous post, they are made in house, by real cigar rollers from the Dominican Republic. who sit there in the store while you sample the wares, and roll new jewels for future consumption.
If you either get down there, or care to try these little gems, give the New Orleans Cigar Factory a look.
